Dressing For Success on The Water

Having the right equipment for your fishing trip is essential, but it is important to make sure you don’t forget about what you will be wearing. The last thing you want is to be spending all day by the water in tight jeans or just a t-shirt when it starts to get cold.

Even if it isn’t predicted to rain, it’s still good to take a water resistance coat with you just in case. On the flip side of this, it is also important to have UV protection such as hats in case the sun is shining through.

• Merino Wool: For colder conditions, merino wool offers insulation while remaining breathable
• Cotton Blends: While not as quick-drying, cotton blends can be comfortable and durable for less extreme conditions
